#VisibleLocalTrusted | We are continuing proactive patrols in and around #CannockChase as we work to tackle concerns relating to anti-social vehicle use and the ongoing risk of wildfires.
While recent weather conditions may have changed, the risk of fires spreading quickly across open land remains, and we are continuing to work closely with partner agencies, including @Staffordshire Fire and Rescue to help keep the Chase safe for it's visitors and wildlife.
We know that anti-social vehicle use can cause significant disruption, damage to the environment, and put other visitors at risk. High-visibility patrols will continue, and where offences are identified, appropriate action will be taken.
We would like to thank the vast majority of visitors who visit the Chase responsibly and help us protect this important local area.
If you have concerns about anti-social vehicle use, suspicious activity, or anyone acting in a way that could increase the risk of a wildfire, please get in touch with us. Information can be reported by calling 101, via our online reporting services, or by speaking to officers whilst they are out on patrol. In an emergency, or if a fire is currently taking place, always call 999.
